So, anybody know why this blog reformatted itself?

I see this a lot around the web: seemingly normal blogs suddenly reformat themselves, stranding the profile and links waaaay down on the bottom. Of course, I can find no way to fix this anywhere out there. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Post them in the comments.

Thanks in advance.

Update! Fixed it! Wanna know how? Read this.

Thanks to Mr. Boing Boing.

I'm so creepy.

When I first saw these, I thought "Audrey Rugburn". Typical pig male response. So ashamed.

Find them and hang them like the drapes they are!

This is just the worst. The assholes responsible for this should be thrown into a pit. From IMDB:

Warner Bros. Accused of Amputee Exploitation

Executives at movie giant Warner Brothers have been accused of exploiting African amputees to garner publicity for new movie Blood Diamond. The studio handpicked 27 teenage and child amputees from South African hospitals to appear as extras in the Leonardo DiCaprio-starring film and promised to provide prosthetic limbs as well as a small salary for their contribution. However, more than three months after filming wrapped, the kids are reportedly still waiting for their new limbs and local charity Eastern Cape has been forced to outfit them instead to avoid their disappointment. A Warner Brothers representative allegedly told the victims, "You will have to wait for December, when the movie comes out, so we can get some publicity out of it." A spokesperson for the company tells PageSix.com, "We're working on it."

Oh well...

A while back an old friend of mine and I met up at an art show. We've known each other since 1981, but have been estranged now for something like 6 or 7 years- it's all too long and boring to get into. We were the very best of friends for a long time before that.

We talked for a bit, and the topic turned to making money in our freelance careers. I knew I had contacts and strategies that could help him, since he made no secret of having been struggling for a while now. I told him I'd like to talk to him and help him out, give him some contacts, make some introductions, maybe get him started in some game design work, since that's what I've been doing lately. Currently, he does some newspaper & some book illustrations, and wants to do more book illustration. He told me (in a pretty patronizing tone that seems to have become his default method of communication these last few years) that he would have to think about it, and he agreed to talk about it at a later date. Instead of giving me his email address, or his phone number, he sticks his chin out, sniffs the air and tells me, "You can reach me at my website."

It was off-putting to say the least. It brought back plenty of bad memories of dealing with this guy in the past. It was a good reminder of why some friendships fade. Oh well. I hope he's doing well, but I'll bet that ego squelches a lot of the opportunities that do come his way.
