Cane Promo

When is the last time CBS aired a show worth watching? It's been a while for me, at least. This could be good. This promo is not as good as one I saw on television last night, but it's the best one I could find. Full of excellent, exciting actors and seemingly artfully shot, this has my hour a week to lose.

A dark melodrama not about drug trafficking, but about the sugar industry. What a genius idea! That is SUCH an ingenious idea.

Anyway:

Mulebot- Advance!

Why is it that I feel bad for the mulebot when they kick it?

So It's Kitten Season Again...

It's kitten season and it's time to beg anyone reading this to get a little cat for their home, office or car. My pal Mary W. volunteers at an animal shelter/pet store here in Seattle and she told me that once again they are up to their eyeballs in these little marvels. Don't wait around. This is a homeless cat crisis situation- Defcon One. Animal Talk is the name of the shelter.

Find them here:
Animal Talk Rescue
6514 Roosevelt Way NE
Seattle, WA 98115
Phone: 206-526-1558
Or find them here.

Just look at all of the little knuckleheads available RIGHT NOW! They're waiting for you AT THIS VERY MINUTE! WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS?? Go! GO!!

Chocolate Rain and Parody

First, watch as much as you can of the original:

Then watch this parody in its entirety. Juvenile and silly, but I've watched it many times and I always laugh.

Family Guy Steals from The Simpsons, Parts 1 and 2

Family Guy fans are like Dane Cook fans. They refuse to acknowledge the evidence of theft by their idols. Not only are these examples in these two videos proof of theft of material and concept, but they serve as proof of the clumsy writing and staging of the Family Guy episodes. And they show Seth McFarlane's incredibly bad voice acting as well. He is the voice of Peter, Stewie, and Brian, the dog, as well as almost all of the other incidental characters you'll see on FG. What the appeal of this lazy, lousy show is to its fans I will never know.

Bonus: Plagiarismo!

Ultron, not Ultron.

Ultron.

Not Ultron.
UPDATE: He may, however, be Annihilus.- Thanks, Andy!

Please make a note of it.

This Is Fun.

My friend Christine and I were hanging out a while ago drawing and we came up with this great new game. We each had a friend that the other had never yet met, but who came up in conversation frequently. As a result, we each had developed a mental image of the other one's friend.

We each drew the mental image and then unveiled them to each other. Then we drew our own friends to illustrate how far off the mental image drawings were. This is my attempt to draw Al, Christine's friend. I'll try to borrow her drawing of the "true" Al, but I assure you that there is not one detail of this drawing that is correct in any way.

You don't have to be able to draw to play this game; look at my drawing for example. In fact, the worse the drawings are, the more fun it can be. It's a lot of laughs. Try it sometime!

Update: How could I have forgotten? This is mighty post number 350! I feel like crying, and by crying I mean drinking and fighting strangers to celebrate. By fighting I mean yelling at them, and by strangers I mean the TeeVee people. Same as last night.
