The thirteen minute prologue to Wes Anderson's next film The Darjeeling Limited can be downloaded for free on Itunes. Wes Anderson is great, and The Darjeeling Limited looks swell, but this little prologue will be watched by six zillion more people than have ever watched anything Anderson has ever done before. Why? Two reasons:
One, it's free to download, and everyone in the world behaves like a hobo in an old Nancy comic when it comes to free stuff. Can't get enough free stuff. No one is immune.
Two, Natalie Portman is naked in this short film. Not naked-naked, but more nude-naked, if you know what I mean. Wink-wink. I think I threw out my eyelid winking just there.
I predict that when the movie proper is released one out of every ten million thousand people who see Hotel Chevalier will see that in the theaters.
FYI, Fox actually cut this little short from being shown along with Darjeeling. Huh?
