This little girl is the cutest, single most wonderful thing I've seen on the interwebs in weeks.

Welcome to Welcome to the Doghouse

Welcome to the Doghouse is a site loaded with sweet and highly entertaining portraits of dogs, and if you like what you see you can commission artist Alexis Trice to paint one for you.
She obviously loves dogs, and it shines brightly in her sometimes crazy paintings. I know a lot of you out there love art and you love your dogs, so this link would be a perfect way to murder some of your time.

Kim Jong Ill?

...Or maybe even dead? A badly photoshopped shot of Kim Jong-il has revived rumors that he is either dead or is in the process of dying. You have to admit that this is a spectacularly bad example of photo manipulation. It's as if someone in the propaganda department is purposely trying to tell us all something. The image above is from Neatorama.
The BBC has another article on this puzzle here.
UPDATE: Another article on the whole business here.
New Watchmen Character Posters
This link will show you another brand new set of character posters for the Watchmen movie, and I noticed something a little off about the redesign/casting/styling of the Ozymandias character. Tell me if you see it too. Uh, that's him on the left.

"Greater-Thans": First In A Series
REPOST: Japanese "Pizza-La" Commercial
Anyone who reads this blog knows how I try to avoid reposting material, and how harshly I judge and condemn those who do. Nevertheless, I'm reposting this commercial because it's so fuggin' cute.
UPDATE: I'll raise you another Pizza-La WTF? commercialal.

Return of The Nevermind Kid
A more modest, more mature Spencer Elden still chases that Nirvana dollar.Nirvana baby Spencer Elden, now 17 years old, recreates the Nirvana "Nevermind" cover he shot when he was only four months old. Read a little about him here, at MTV's site. You are now sixteen years older than you were when "Smells Like Teen Spirit" came out.
Just for fun, here's Bart Simpson recreating the shot for Rolling Stone in 2002.

Yet Another Shepard Fairey Obama Poster

Victory! These are not yet available to the public, but are promised soon. Jenniferda the Nerda told me this, but I can't actually find any mention of it on obeygiant. Then again, maybe Shepard Fairey has come to realize that it's time to step off of Obama's coattails and quit recreating the original poster again and again. Maybe he was going to issue this one and changed his mind. I dunno.
Play "Cookie Party" on the Comedy Central Website
Cookie Party, Sarah Silverman's favorite show on the Sarah Silverman Show, is now available in flash game form. It's fun and funny. It's both.
